Volunteer Opportunities
Do you love attending the Paisley Fall Fair? Are you aware that the Fair is run by the Paisley Agricultural Society, made up entirely of volunteers?

Why not join us? There are plenty of opportunities to help – from a few hours on Fair weekend, to joining a committee, to joining the Board of Directors – there are opportunities both large and small, and lots of ways to get involved.

Your time, great ideas and your enthusiasm is always welcome! If you care about your community, would like to meet new people and have fun doing it….. this is a great place to do it!!
For High School students, volunteering looks great on your resume. We have opportunities for both guys and gals.

If you have a particular interest in one of the events or activities at the Fall Fair, or you have skills that you would like to share with our organization, perhaps you would like to volunteer to be on a committee. We have approximately 25 different committees, with a chairperson. We would love to have you join us!

Food Booth: We operate our own indoor food booth (8am to 3pm) and outdoor food booths (10am to 3pm). Shifts would be 4 hours long. Jobs include: taking food orders, handling money, BBQ burgers, cook French fries, runner/cleaning

Admission Gate: Greeting visitors and taking money as people arrive at the gates (8am to 11:30 shift or 11:30-3pm shift).

Parking Attendants: Helping to park visitors in an orderly manner, 8am to 2pm

Fair Set-Up on Saturday (before Sunday of the Fair): assisting to set up tents, move chairs, place garbage & recycling, post signage, etc. Assisting committee members in setting up their areas. Working with other volunteers.

Fair Clean-Up on Sunday afternoon (5pm to 8pm): assisting to take down tents, move chairs, collect garbage, take down fencing and signage. Assist committee members in putting away supplies and cleaning up the grounds.

We are happy to have student volunteers who wish to obtain volunteer hours for High School. We have opportunities for Fair Set-Up and Fair Clean Up. Please call or email the Secretary-Treasurer, Assistant Secretary, or any committee chairpeople.
